Or that almost everything that she found loveable about Awn is also a trait that Mercy of Kalr could find loveable about Breq.
I think Breq still largely thinks they're two ships hanging out together. But from Mercy of Kalr's perspective, on the one hand, absolutely yes they are, but on the other hand they're really not, and it never actually knew Justice of Toren personally, and... some things you can't help.
